- Nearly 7 years after its last appearance, Momotaro revives the famous Grand Indigo dye for this special collaboration denim. Known for its distinctive greencast color, the famous Grand Indigo dye was previously reserved for Momotaro's early special projects, before it was discontinued in 2013 for being too difficult to produce. This limited release revives the Grand Indigo dye and pairs it with an all-new 14oz Zimbabwe cotton selvedge denim that sports a classic rigid raw denim feel with exceptional durability. This jacket is equipped with special details pulled from prior collaborations, like the co-branded “bandana” style leather patch of 2018. Plus, the jacket sports contrasting "Going to Battle" stripes, and all-original Momotaro branding and detailing, including pink selvedge detailing along the placket.

As part of the Japan Blue Group, Momotaro has full control over the process behind their products, from conception to production, giving the brand an unparalleled amount of creative freedom. The name Momotaro is born from a famous Japanese folktale, in which a boy born from a giant peach grows up to save his village from marauding demons. The pink selvedge and inseam are an homage to the peach in this story, and the signature battle stripes represent the war flag the boy carried into battle. Thanks to their careful attention to detail, Momotaro has become one of the most reputable denim brands in the world.
